Life lately & a new blog schedule

I've been giving my blog a lot of thought recently. I hate that I post so sporadically. I hate that I don't post much about myself. I hate that I don't have much of a structure to my posting. The easiest way I could think of to address my concerns was to come up with a very simple blog schedule that I'm going to try and stick to every week. If I miss a post, I'm not going to beat myself up about it. When that happens, I stop posting altogether! I'll just make sure to get back on track for the next post. So here's what the schedule is going to look like in a bit more detail...

A look at a series of photos from a particular week that will eventually end up in my Project Life album.
Life Lately
A sort of 'currents' post documenting things I'm up to or liking at the moment. (More on this later!)

Wordless(ish) Wednesday
I'm sure you've seen this one before on other blogs. I'll be sharing a recent photo (not necessarily taken on that day) sometimes with a few words and sometimes without.

Friday Favourites
A short list of things that I've seen around the web that I'm loving right now.

On my bookshelf (You may have seen my first couple of these posts already...I'll be continuing to review books that I'm reading or have read in the past.)
On my travels (Starting this summer, I'm hoping to start a new blog series about travelling. I'll share photos of and thoughts about the different places I've visited, both on holiday and during my time as an air stewardess.)
Throwback Thursdays (Now and then I'm planning to post an old scrapbook layout or project...just for fun!)

Reading: A Possible Life by Sebastian Faulks
Watching: DVD boxsets of Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Takes me back to my childhood.
Eating: amazing cookies baked from scratch by my awesome housemate.
Drinking: far too much Dr Pepper than is probably good for me.
Celebrating: changes coming up that will hopefully massively improve my ME symptoms
Hoping: my Dad's three-month break from the chemo won't mean bad news.
Listening to: Michael Jackson's Xscape the new track, 'Love Never Felt So Good' with Justin Timberlake.
Trying: to be a better blogger!
Creating: an art-journal/mini album in a Handbook. SO fun.
Wearing: anything that fits. I've put on so much weight since getting ill again.
Considering: trying Whole30. Reason: see above.
Thinking: about how everyone around me is getting engaged.
Feeling: happy for my newly engaged friends but also sad for me.
Wondering: when it's going to my turn.
Needing:  to actually meet someone first.
