Yikes...Week 7. How is it that I haven't blogged any Project Life spreads since that far back?! Crazy! You might not believe it, but I am actually up-to-date with my album. It's just the taking photos of my spreads, uploading to my computer, editing and sharing online that is the process of this whole thing that I am least fond of. Despite the fact that I love this project with all my heart and I am desperate to share that love with you!
Anyway, without further ado, here is Week 7...
Highlights from this week | Playing house while my mum and stepdad were sunning it up on holiday. The best crackling ever. Receiving the new Jack Wills catalogue on Valentine's Day. My sister looking through my PL album and saying to me, "You have a real talent." An encouraging text from my mum in the midst of a work-related meltdown. A belated 60th birthday lunch for my stepdad.
Thoughts on this spread | I used a few more embellishments on this than on previous weeks' spreads and realised that I LOVE wood veneer for prettying things up. I am officially a wood veneer addict. I also let my love of doilies show on this week's title card...I love how it looks with that paper. Might have to remember to sneak some doilies in there in upcoming weeks as I've only used one more doily in my album since Week 7! The restaurant photos that make up the large majority of the right-hand page make me happy...I've realised that I just can't get enough of taking photos of food. Especially when eating out. It gets me some funny looks, but I'm just past the point of caring about it!
Products used | I used bits from all over the place for this spread - Becky Higgins Seafoam core kit, Studio Calico January PL kit, wood veneer and sticker...'oh snap' die-cut was from one of the Scrapbook kits.
